Do you still believe in Santa Claus ?
That's one question we have all been asked at least once in our lives. Henri Paquet the president of the Association of Santa Clauses of the Province of Quebec believes in Santa Claus so much that he decided to dedicate his whole life to the cause since 1959. That's more than fifty years.
Since 1959 he has been known affectionately at the Santa Clause of all Santa Clauses. Mr. Paquet has made it official by founding the Association of Santa Clauses of the Province of Quebec (an affiliate of S.P.P.M. Inc.) to make sure that his love for Santa Claus is forever represented with the outmost care, love and respect.
Beyond the success that has taken Mr. Paquet through this adventure there is no doubt that nothing stands in his way to continue the belief that Santa Claus is real and will forever be present to all the believers.
Through the years the demand has been so great for Santa Claus that today the Association, with its head office in Montreal has affiliates in Quebec, Saguenay Lac-Jean, Beauce, Estrie, Mauricie, Outaouais and the Laurentians.
Year after year, forty permanent and 200 part time employees aged from 18 to 70 years old wears the famous outfit during the festive season. Not anybody can represent Santa Claus. Rigorous hiring practices are used including background inquiries to insure that the people hired have a clean background and meet all the requirements for the perfect Santa Claus.
The principal qualities of a perfect Santa Claus, including his special laugh and jovial manners, his patience and of course his understanding of every child's particular needs. There's more to meeting Santa Claus than just wishing for gifts. He is a man with a big heart capable of listening to childrens requests and telling them to always love and respect their parents.
All the employees hired by the Association are highly versatile and adapt well to all the activities they are assigned too. In fact, Santa Claus will be invited to all sorts of gatherings such as office parties, corporative events, publicity photo sessions, commercials, TV presentations and of coarse television advertisements.
Santa Claus also visits nurseries, children centers, hospitals and old age residence homes.

The 24th and the 25th of December will be the most occupied dates for Santa Claus appearances.
There are many families year after year that are at the service of the Association of Santa Clauses of the Province of Quebec.
The sympathetic man with the long white beard in his red outfit will be there distributing gifts to all with his joyful laugh and his warm personality. Afterwards he will return to the North Pole to rest up until the next time are good friend Henri Paquet will give him a call to give him more deeds for the new festive season.
